November Health Care Awareness
"It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure"
Welcome to November awareness month. The focus today is on Diabetic awareness and education in managing diabetes. Diabetic knowledge is important to your health and wellbeing. The American Diabetes Association and other organizations are providing education, training, and support to communities.
The Health Agency Friend wants you to know diabetes is manageable with the right support and a willingness to learn. If you are diabetic, what is your biggest challenge? Take some time to think about this question. Be honest with yourself. Obstacles in our health decrease with knowledge. It is important to schedule regular doctor appointments with your endocrinologist and primary doctor. The doctor is there to support you in your journey towards good health. In addition, partner with the America Diabetic Association and attend their webinars. If technology is an obstacle, call 800 -342-2383 to receive information and speak with a representative. It's time to thrive in our health. Let's do it together through education.
